Happy May! Yay for spring, it means it's slowly getting warmer, and my allergies are slowly getting worse lol. I've been making some more jewelry, but I need to upload pictures to the gallery.

So anyway, the gossip on PR Season 5. I waiting in line for a few hours and then the green room for another 4 hours. When I was to go in and see the jusdges, they decided to take a lunch break, so I sat in my evening gown in the cold green room for another 2 hours. At leastr I managed to make friends with the person in front and behind me in line. They wee cool people and I hope to see the guy on the show (he reminded me of Chris March from, season 4).

Anywho, lunch is over, I get miced up, photographed by the NY Times, and I'm in the audition! I was so nervous. I hung up my Plum Coat and Can Can dress and before I could even make it to the mark to stand and wait, Tim Gunn asked to see my portfolio!!! OMG, what an HONOR! The crew said that if Tim doesn't ask to see, just stand on your mark and wait. Normally they bother asking, they look at your three pieces and decide in a matter of seconds if your portfolio is worth looking at!
Tim is thumbing through my portfolio pointing things out to Christian (winner of Season 4) and he made such wonderful comments!

"I see you have a lot of versatility working in different areas of design."

"Oh, good, that's not your RTW, still it's well done." - referring to my Can Can dress lol

"Your coat is gorgeous, great color choices."

and my favorite line "Your jewelry is absolutely devine."

To finish off the audition "You have a lot of potential, you are quite versatile, and I want to see you come back next year with a RTW line and 3 samples of it." O M G!!! HUGE Compliment right there, I may have ben rejected, but he LOVED my work and wants to see me next year!

Okay, enough excitement, it was over a month ago and I'm bad for not posting about it sooner lol.
